Prepackaged Parcels

We are happy to accept prepackaged parcels per our agreements with UPS and the USPS. By accepting your package we accept the responsibility of making the package available to the appropriate carrier. By dropping off your package with us, you accept that:

~ It is your responsibility to understand what items are considered hazardous, illegal, prohibited, dangerous, or restricted (HIPDR).
~ You must be sure your package does not contain any HIPDR materials.
~ You must declare any liquid or perishable contents to us and ensure that those items are packed appropriately for shipping.
~ We may open and inspect your package.
~ Without reservation or condition, you absolve and hold harmless and indemnify Ship Shop & Paper Place from all injuries and/or damages resulting in any way from the handling, storage and transportation of this shipment. You further agree to reimburse Ship Shop & Paper Place for any and all costs, fees, or expenses in defense of any claim or judgments that may arise as a result of criminal or civil prosecution related to this shipment.

Prepaid parcels

We are happy to accept prepaid parcels per our agreements with UPS and the USPS. We also accept prepaid packages for other carriers for a fee. If you need assistance preparing your package or prepaid labels there may be fees associated with that service.

By accepting your package we accept the responsibility of making the package available to the appropriate carrier. By dropping off you package with us, you accept that:

~ All of the terms above for prepackaged parcels apply to you.
~ We have no responsibility for the accuracy of your label, quality of your packaging, or deliver of your package.
~ Your package will have lower priority than non-prepaid packages (i.e., those shipped through us) and may not be made available to the carrier on the same day it is dropped off.

Insurance

Proper packing is the best form of insurance against damage. All packages that are insured are subject to inspection by us for proper packing. Should a claim become necessary:

~ We will work with the insurance provider on your behalf.
~ You must provide all necessary information in a timely manner for a claim to be filed.
~ If you packed the item and it is damaged, claims will be paid if and when the insurance provider pays the claim.
~ If we packed the item and it is damaged, claims will be paid as soon as all necessary information for a claim in provided.
~ If the package is lost or late, claims will be paid if and when the insurance provider pays the claim.
